In the year 1976 Mr. Victor Mohamar, took his first step toward building the SANTA MARIA Residential & Golf Club located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila at kilometer 17 of the Saltillo-Monterrey Highway.

Davisa continued to work during the following years in association with other local entrepreneurs and investors to develop exclusive residential housing developments.

We began providing residential construction services in the area with developments such as: Privadas de Luxemburgo, San Patricio, Portal de Aragon, encountering also with a Commercial Development called Flamingos, committed to gather stores such as SAM´S during the year 1994. In 1995 we started with Ciudad Mirasierra, a large low income housing community comprised with 16,000 lots, focused to attend the requirements of low income housing – type Infonavit and Fovi. Up to this year 2007 we have built more than 7,000 houses in this development.

In the year 1998 was a boom time for industry in the city of Saltillo and Ramos Arizpe. Many large automotive supply companies serving General Motors and Chrysler started up business in the region.

With Davisa’s earlier success in residential construction, the change to an industrial focus was not a big stretch. The first client in the industrial park was MAGNA Corporation. They bought 89 hectares of land from Davisa, with all utility services available on the property. Davisa was also hired as general contractor for the land development and for a new large-scale industrial project in town.

Davisa’s Industrial Park Division formally was begun in 1999 and has always avidly promoted the attraction of investors to the region. From its inception, this Division has been a leader in the development of industrial construction in Saltillo-Ramos Arizpe.

We sustained developing housing complexes in large scale such as Residencial Villas de San Miguel, Villas de San Patricio, El Rosario, Villa Vergel, Villa Las Palmas, Portales Del Valle and Real del SOL.
